Traditional Wedding With a Twist

We’ve only worked a few Traditional Weddings before, but this one was a blast! Little backstory: We have known Krissy for years, we used to work with her at Boatyard back in 2012, when we were all so young and dumb, when hangovers weren’t even a thing or if they were it lasted for a hour not half the day. Krissy and Tony are so chill and they definitely know how to throw a wedding party, they had a LIGHTSABER SEND OFF, like, how cool can you get?

So, anyway, Krissy and Tony were pregnant with their first child when they got married, and she was glowing with her gorgeous blue and green hair. After they got married we took some shots in front of this huge, intricate, mosaic cross at the front of the church. The colors were fun and really let in the natural light as they said “I do” at the altar that was adorned with flowers.

The reception was at the Panama City Women’s club, the theme was whimsical with fairy centerpieces, twinkling lights on the ceiling and their cake had a ton of their favorite tv and comics like dragon ball z, batman and others. When the light saber send off went down we angled everyone just right as they walked down the steps and into their car. We still have 2 of those lightsabers from the wedding, and even though they don’t light up anymore they still function as fantastic swords for playtime with our kid.
